The Office Bearers and Members of the Association wish to congratulate their highly respected Member Ronnie Coulter on being awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the Queens Birthday Honours List 2013.
Ronnie is a founder Member of the Association and is Past Chairman. He has always taken a very direct and keen interest in promoting the Aims and Activities of the Association and has been of tremendous help to many Members. He also developed the Interest in Vintage ploughing throughout the British Isles and in Continental Europe being a founder member and Past Chairman of the European Vintage Ploughing Association.
Many members who represented Northern Ireland in the European Championships are greatly indebted to Ronnie for organising and providing the transport for their Ploughing Tractors and Equipment to travel to all corners of Europe. He also willingly gives of his time in helping others to prepare equipment for competitions and providing equipment on loan when required.
All feel that the award of this Honour is very well deserved.
